Lenin Peak expedition: 25 days in the Pamir
Prepare for Lenin Peak (7,134 m) on a 25-day expedition in Kyrgyzstan. Mirando al Sur combines preparatory climbs, technical practice, rotations and recovery before the final phase towards this Pamir 7,000-metre peak.
The included Spanish guide accompanies the programme to C3–Razdelnaya. Guiding for Lenin’s summit is a separate service that must be agreed before booking. Defining that scope helps organise the objective, team and support you need.
Your mountain trip with Mirando al Sur
The schedule adds four days to the standard 21-day programme. They are already included in the 25-day total and can be used for recovery, preparation or suitable mountain conditions.
The team draws on six previous Pamir expeditions and a published record of more than 20 participants on Lenin, over 50 on Razdelnaya and over 70 on Yuhin. This experience informs preparation and decisions; it cannot guarantee a summit or anyone’s altitude response.

Frequently asked questions
Is this still a three-week trip?
The current programme lasts 25 days. Four additional days are already included beyond the standard 21; they are not added again to the total.
How far does the included guide accompany the group?
To C3–Razdelnaya. If you need guiding for Lenin’s summit attempt, this must be arranged and booked separately.
What changes with premium accommodation?
Base Camp uses twin cabins with private bathrooms and C1 uses twin domes with beds. C2 and C3 use two-person high-altitude tents in both categories.
Are Petrovsky and Lenin guaranteed?
No. Objectives depend on conditions, the group’s progress and available time. Reserve days allow changes but do not guarantee an attempt or summit.
Which meals are covered?
The stated full board applies to Base Camp and C1. Food for C2, C3 and climbing days needs separate organisation; confirm arrangements and dietary requirements before booking.
How many hotel nights are included in Osh?
One return-night stay with breakfast. The planned arrival transfers directly to Base Camp.
Does included insurance cover every rescue expense?
No such assumption should be made. Public liability and accident insurance are stated, while travel medical and cancellation insurance and the listed exceptional expenses are excluded. Review cover for the activity and altitude.
How do I enquire about joining?
Send your climbing history, glacier and altitude experience, preparation and preferred accommodation. We can then review the programme and support needed for your objective.
