Bolivia expedition: three 6,000-metre peaks and the Cordillera Real

Spend three weeks exploring Bolivia’s Cordillera Real and high-plateau volcanoes. Huayna Potosí, Acotango and Parinacota are the three objectives above 6,000 m on a journey beginning with La Paz, Lake Titicaca and the Island of the Sun.

Mirando al Sur combines trekking and climbs in Condoriri before the main high-altitude objectives. The sequence brings together Andean landscapes and culture, with scope to adapt activity to participants’ progress.

Your mountain trip with Mirando al Sur

The journey moves between different environments: high-plateau cities, Titicaca’s islands, Condoriri camps, a Huayna Potosí hut and the Sajama area. The variety of culture and accommodation is part of the experience.

The published technical rating is low-to-moderate, but effort and altitude still require preparation. Glacier climbs and volcano ascents are planned objectives rather than guaranteed summits. Discuss your experience, equipment and expectations with the team.
