North Ridge of Cartujo with a mountain guide
Explore a ridge of rock and snow in Sierra Nevada and develop your experience beyond normal winter routes. Cartujo’s North Ridge is an intermediate mountaineering outing, with a small group and a full day in the mountains.
The route alternates rocky sections and snow slopes towards Cartujo’s summit at around 3,152 metres. Conditions may require a short abseil, with snow or ice on the final slopes.
This is a more technical objective for people already familiar with classic winter mountain ascents. The programme specifies a maximum of two participants, allowing the guide to manage the route for a small party.
Experience and preparation
